CONDITIONS OF WORK
As with other companies in this line of work, we can only accept work under certain conditions:
- Work is carried out on a best effort basis. No responsibility can be accepted for delays in repair or return for whatever reason. In practice we perform better than many other organisations.
- It is expected that all systems we work on have their data adequately backed up to tape/CD/other storage medium. We cannot accept liability for any data loss from systems in our possession, although we can arrange for additional protective measures such as additional backups to be carried out at our normal rates.
- No liability will be accepted for damage or loss of equipment or data in our possession. Of course we will do our best to ensure that your items are looked after to the best of our ability.
- All invoices are payable on presentation. Parts used for jobs remain our property until the invoice is settled in full. By employing us, you accept that we may charge an extra administrative fee of £50 per month + 1% of the outstanding invoice amount per month that any payment is overdue. Recovery costs in the event of non-payment will be added to the aforementioned amount.
